35th & 36th Verses of Shri Hanuman Bahuk and Shri Ramraksha Stotra

Shri Hanuman Bahuk: 35th Verse

Gheri liyo rogni kujogni kulogni jyaaun,

Baasar jalad ghan ghata dhuki dhaaee haai |

Barsat baari peer jaariye javaase jas,

Rosh binu dosh, dhoom-mool malinaaee haai ||

Karnunaanidhaan Hanumaan mahaabalvaan,

Heri hansi haanki phoonki phaaujen taain udhaaee haai |

Khaaye huto Tulsee kurog raadh raaksani,

Kesreekisor raakhe beer bariaaee haai ||

Ailments, bad configurations (of planets) and evil people have beset me like dense gathered clouds speedily flooding the sky, during the day. Showering the water of pain and getting enraged without any offence they have singed me like the fire of jvasa (a thorny shrub used medicinally, it loses its leaves in the rainy season) of glory and made me faint.

Oh Hanumanji, the trove of compassion, the extremely powerful one! Smiling, you look intently, and challenging the troops of your enemies, blow them up with your breath. Oh the valiant son of Kesri!(a lion)The heartless demon of a malicious disease has devoured Tulsi and you have protected me with your might.

Shri Ramraksha Stotra: 35th Verse

Aapdaampahar taaram daataaram sarvsampdaam I

Lokaabhiramam Shri Ramam bhooyo bhooyo nammamya hum ||

I bow over and over again to Lord Rama who delights everyone, gets rid of adversities and bestows all kinds of wealth.

Shri Hanuman Bahuk: 36th Verse

Savaiyas or a Hindi quatrian of dactylic structure

Raamgulaam tuhee Hanuman

Gosaain susaain sadaa anukoolo |

Paalyo haaun baal jyon aakhar doo

Pitu maatu son mangal mod samoolo ||

Baanhkee bedan baanhpagaar

Pukaarat aarat aanand bhoolo |

ShriRaghubeer nivaariye peer

Rahaaun darbaar paro lati loolo ||

Oh Goswami Hanumanji! You are the supreme master and always support the sevakas or devotees of Ramchandraji. Both the words (Ram-Naam) which are the basis of joyfulness, have brought me up like parents. Oh the one who gives refuge to the arms! Forgetting all delight due to the pain in my arms, I am calling out to you in suffering. Oh heroic one of the Raghu Dynasty! Vanquish my agony so that I can grace your royal court despite being weak and disabled.

Shri Ramraksha Stotra: 36th Verse

Bharjanam bhav beejaanaam arjanam sukh sampdaam I

Tarjanam yum dootaanam Ram Rameti garjanam ||

Chanting 'Ram-Ram', destroys the cycle of births (leading to salvation),makes us attain all the joys plus wealth and scares away the envoys of Yama (god of death.)
