11th and 12th Verses of Shri Shiv Tandava Stotram

Verse 11

Jayatvadabhravibhrama bhramadbhujangamasafur
Dhigdhigdhi nirgamatkarala bhaal havyavat
Dhimiddhimiddhimidhva nanmrudangatungamangala
Dhvanikramapravartita prachanda tandavah shivah II11II

I hail to Lord Siva who is proficient in the terrifying tandava dance in pace with the ascending scale of the mridanga (a double drum, tapering from the middle towards the ends)which makes the auspicious sound of dhimid dhimid, and the fire blazing on whose forehead has become extremely fearsome due to the exhaled breaths of snakes slithering speedily.

Verse 12

Drishadvvichitra talpayor-bhujangmaukti kasrajo -

Rgarishtha ratna loshtayon: Shuridwipakaha pakshyoh: |

Trinar vindachachakshushoh: Prajamahee mahendra yoh:

Sama pravritikah: kada sada Shivam bhajamyaham || 12 ||

Sadashiva or the Cosmic Form of Lord Shiva

When will I worship Lord Sadashiva (an epithet of the eternally auspicious Shankara) while viewing the common people and emperors, a lump of clay and valuable precious stones, a snake and a string of pearls, a stone-hearted and a lovingly tender person with equality in this strange world of varied ways.
