Kakbhushundi Asks Lord Rama For the Boon of Religious Devotion
So may it be! Saying so, the Svami of the Raghus spoke words which give immense joy: Listen, Kåkbhushundi : you are shrewd by nature. Thus how could you not ask for this boon. There is no one as fortunate as you in this mundane world since you asked for bhakti or religious devotion which is the source of all joys. Even those sages whose bodies are consumed by the fire of japa and yoga cannot attain it (bhakti). You asked for that very religious devotion and seeing your cleverness I was pleased and really liked your request.
Lord Rama Reveals the Mysteries of Bhakti to Kakbhushundi
Listen, O bird! Now, by My grace all good qualities shall dwell in your heart. Religious devotion, spiritual wisdom, acquired knowledge of the world, asceticism, yoga, My lilas or divine plays and their secrets, as well as divisions. By My grace you shall come to know of their mysteries and need not undergo rigorous sadhana (long standing devotion.)

Lord Rama Discloses that He is The All-Pervading Spirit of the Universe
None of the doubts arising from Maya will reside in you heart. From now onwards, know Me to be the same Brahma (the impersonal Ultimate Being), who is without beginning and birth, untouched by gunas (the constituents of nature) and yet a mine of virtues (divine and beyond the gunas). Listen, Kåkbhushundi: Devotees are forever dear to Me. Reflecting over this fact, have steadfast devotion to My feet in thought, word and deed.

Human Beings are Most Dear to Lord Rama
Now listen to My most pure teaching, which is true, easily understandable and has been described by the Vedas and other scriptures. I shall tell My own conclusion to you. Listening to it, engrave it on your mind; and giving up everything else, worship Me. This entire world has been created by My Maya (power of delusion) There are several kinds of moving and immobile living beings here and they are all dear to me because they are My creatures. But human are most dear to Me.
Brahmanas, Well-Versed in the Vedas
Out of human beings, the Brahmanas, and out of them those who are well-versed in the Vedas; of these those that follow the course prescribed in the Vedas; and of these those that are not attached to worldly objects (ascetics) are dear to Me. And of these those who have true knowledge and out of them a man who is a vigyani (has knowledge of brahman acquired by meditation and study) is very dear to Me. More than these, My own servitor (devotee) who relies solely on Me and has no other hope. Over and over again I repeat the truth( My Own theory) to you that no one is as dear to Me as My devotee.
Brahma, the Creator
Brahma (the Creator) devoid of devotion to Me, would be just be as dear to Me as other living beings. Whereas the most inferior creature if steeped in devotion, is as dear to Me as My life. This is My declaration.

Lord Rama is Most Fond of a Dedicated Devotee
Tell Me, who would not love a pure, calm and sagacious sevaka? The Vedas and Puranas talk of such an ethical principle. O Kakabhushundi! Listen carefully.
